Programme are a strange group, on first inspection I thought they were going to be either a post rock band or electronic of some kind. The style of music they play cant however be quite so easily pigeon-holed. “L’Enfer Tiede” ranges from Coil-esque electronic drones to avant-hop like something from the Anticon camp to a slight Trans Am or even Kraftwerk moments. I was more impressed by the first track than the rest of it, the music is loosely based around what sounds like a plane going over your house with almost rapped vocals and industrial Terminator 2 noisy build ups.
This isn’t something I’d listen to everyday but I still quite like it and I’d be up for checking out other stuff by them.
