Pushing Red Buttons - s/t - CD (2003)

Labels: Orchard
Review by: Tom Sloan

The packaging looks like to a stoner-rock album, with the funky font and all. However,

the music here is staggeringly similar to the last c.d. I “˜reviewed’, – the Charisma

one. So the same applies. Retro rock, this time very poppy and happy-go-lucky

sounding. However, my mode has lightened since that review, a few minutes ago”¦

“¦I’m now laughing out loud”¦This is less offensive than a prom band at a sixties

dance-party. I’m not going to waste time criticising the c.d”¦they were just terribly,

tragically mistaken in sending this to collective. It’s like a bad joke (very funny,

andy!) Listening to this certainly has made me chuckle.

Hehe, I can’t fathom why I’m sitting here with this c.d. on”¦this is all a very surreal

experience, that I”˜m sure you would understand if you could hear the music. Brilliant.

Haha 🙂
