R'N'R - Fit For Abuse - split - 7

Labels: bridge nine
Review by: Damien Mills

So the long awaited new split is upon us, worth the wait? Pretty much – it is nothing mindblowing but pretty decent stuff. R’N’R up first with some crazy bar rock fuelled mayhem, lots of big guitar leads and stuff, infact is it wasnt for the vocals you could probably pass this off as a slightly quicker than average hard rock band, seems to be a sort of trend sweeping through the East Coast at the minute for this type of stuff but I guess these guys were among the first…

The other side is given up to Fit For Abuse who i know sod all of other than I think the singer plays drums in Dropkick Murphys, their stuff is much more straight up 80’s punk rock jawns that blast buy in what seems like no time, not much time given to melody and that, but it’s punk rock y’ know?
