Amazing shit. Top quality split 7″ of ome awesome indie rock. First up, the Rum Diary who offer up a completely aching, sort of slow and dreamy little tune. The only other thing I have by this band is the Kilowatthours split which never really grabbed me, but I’ll definitely be re-investigating it. This actually really reminds me of something but I can’t think what, I hate when that happens…
Desert City Soundtrack’s offering is a bit harder but still weirdly haunting and slightly bitter sounding. And then of course there is the piano. People will avoid this band for being on Deep Elm and having a name very similar to some trash Epitaph group, to those people I say YOU SUCK RUBBER CLOWN SHOES, JOKER.
Limited to about 6 copies so pick it up quick, you won’t be disappointed.
