Labels: Tiger Style Records
Review by: Luke Younger
New Rye Coalition 7″, which I guess is a taster for their new record on Tiger Style. A label which seems to be digging its retro-esque rock recently with the release of the last Convocation Of… LP and now this. It’s pretty good. B-side ‘Snowjob’ totally walks over the a-side with a great riff, backed up by a strong rhythm section. Also helped by a great production job by Steve Albini, and the whisky soaked vocal of the singer. It basically sounds like Shellac playing cock rock, which I quite like. I’ll check out the new LP when it’s out.
