Two songs, one from each band, nicely packaged 7″, out on Act Your Age records and that’s all I really know about this release. Apart from the music of course…
I opted to listen to Schrasj first of all and was pretty unimpressed. Although the jangly guitars are actually quite nice I just couldn’t handle the vocals. They’re just far too dreary for my ears, unfortunately inducing the same levels of annoyance as when I’m forced to listen to the Divine Comedy on the radio. Man, I hate that Neil bloke.
Thankfully, the Jessica Six track is a bit more interesting. Melodic pop-punk which is pretty neat. A jessica six album (if it exists) could be worth a look on the basis of this song.
