Seamonster - s/t - 7

Took me about 4 hours to even work out what this was. Then another 9 to extract it from it’s packaging. Then I found, to my great joy, that it was more stuff by Seamonster. woot woot! The first side might be a remix or something is it a lot noisier than their somnambulant LP. THe first side is a rhythmic electronica fskkkksthwwwwwwip type thing. Melodic and kind of slidey, the subtle beats take hold and give it a real energy. I love that the song titles are co-ordinates to somewhere in the world, I looked them up and they appear to be around near Malmo in Sweden. The second side is mellower and much more horizontal. It’s a pleasant, drifting blend of acoustic guitar, electronics and some vocals that have been altered, kind of Aerial M ish in a way. Very nice.

More good stuff from these chaps then, yes sirree. Only problem now: getting it back in the packing.
