Wow, beautiful packaging. Obviously this whole thing is very Witching Hour inspired. From the design to the sound. Senneval are a punishing emo violence band that are like a more technical and metal Orchid. Heavy and fast, with total screamo vocals. They have lots of explosive grooves and that hidden element of melody buried in their sound. This is good quality stuff because they don’t go after the metal angle too much, and tracks like “Heather O’Rourke Must Not Die…Oops” don’t sound like total rip offs of popular bands of this sort.

Yeah, it’s all been done before and I know I keep writing that I find this genre really generic nowadays, but I still enjoy 90% of the records in this style that I get to hear. Weird huh? Out as a split release between City Boot and Acentric (new name for Unfun), both labels you can rely on for awesome music. Nice one!
