Four nicely melodic songs all the way from Canada and recorded in what seems a ridiculously short period of time. What makes it even more impressive is that the songs are far more interesting and varied than your average power-pop (or is it rock? – argh, I’ve lost track of my genres). ‘Liquid Nitro’ even shuffles in some twangy guitars (surf style!) which is surprisingly pleasant.
So, yeah, I quite like this. I can’t see myself going back to it all that often and as far as rock music goes it’s a little too polished for my tastes. But you could do an awful lot worse.
