Awesome. The best way that I can think of describing this beautiful mess is to get you to imagine ‘Suicide Invoice’ by Hot Snakes, and then have it played in an asylum by old men with attention deficit disorder. Yes, THAT FUCKING GOOD.

The tunes are right there, catchy and clever, but are buried deep under some twisted duelling guitars, skittish drumming and furious arrangements that have them playing one cool riff after another seemingly at random, whilst settling on one thing long enough to get your toes tapping and then wrong-footing you straight after, sending the song into infinitely more interesting directions. It’s tricky to get your head round initially, but it’s most definitely a grower. Like a fungus! Not to say that Sicbay are a pony with just the one amazing trick. They do variety too. There are some exceedingly pretty quieter numbers, and nifty messing about with instruments and effects.

This is so good, I hardy feel it’s necessary mentioning the fact that Sicbay feature ex-members of such pioneering noise-core bands such as Dazzling Killmen and Colossamite. Oops I just have. BUY!
