This is a really promising demo. This band seem to tread the gap between Benton Falls and Converge, if that makes any sense! Occasional twangly, moaning sequences trade off with spastic metal outbursts, done in a very clever way. There’s nothing that grabs me by the throat or massages me round the tear ducts, but it’s promising, as I say. I can see these guys going one of two ways; either they’ll hone their songwriting and make better songs to destroy your world, or they’ll move to the more ‘commercial’ metal side of their current potential and go on tour with Funeral For a Friend. We’ll see.
