Sorrow - Let There Be Thorns - 7

Labels: Piski Disk
Review by: Chris Bress

Not only does this 7″ looks amazing, a picture disc showing a very scary but pretty Rosie McDowell on one side and a coiling thorny branch on the other, but it sounds incredible. Its definitely a lot less poppy than the Strawberry Switchblade material I’ve heard. It has a lot more in common with the little known Brighton folk group Theta and obviously Current 93. The b-side is the same song but with some amazing work with fellow Current 93 collaborator Michael Cashmore, a truly amazing guitarist.

If very dark sombre gothic folk sounds like your cup of tea than I strongly urge you to purchase this awesome single.
