Swarrrm & Syura Fujimoto - çŽ

Labels: HG Fact
Review by: Alex Deller

Dunno who Syura Fujimoto is, but herein he teams up with Swarrrm and lays down some breathlessly manic Japanese dialogue that could easily serve as the climatic day of reckoning speech before some gonzoid Manga movie bloodbath unfolds. For their part, however, Swarrrm aren’t exactly excelling. The music is stodgy and commonplace, bashing about competently but with neither the bite nor the lunatic edge we’ve come to expect. Sure, it might not be terrible, but given the calibre of their back catalogue the strangely so-so nature of this outing makes it an anomalous disappointment that even Mr Fujmoto’s barking mad vocals can’t quite fix.
