The 1985 - s/t - 7

It starts of with ‘The Long Weekend’. A regular paced yet enthusiastic-no wave kinda track with highly snotty vocals. Really easy to get into and highly danceable, no doubt. (References : Le Shok, Hot Hot Heat, Black Cat #13.) Then it rushes into ‘Latin Inches’. A very short and abrupt one yet super harsh. More guitar assaults than the former. (References : Arab on Radar, Beautiful Skin 7″ on GSL). Flipping over is ‘(Even)More’. A repetitive type which is more trippy sounding and spaced out and kraut-rock influenced. While it is less keyboard dominated, there is still a sense of electronic presence reminiscent of The Convocation Of. Ace. Packaging is monochrome. Sound is excellent. Hurrah.
