The Apes are one of those bands that I thought were quite average until I saw them. They were incredible and went totally nuts, it was one of the best gigs the Social had seen since Melt Banana or Song Of Zarathustra. Their keyboard-led noise garage fusion now gets me extremely sexually excited and makes me want to mosh like STC on speed. This record is tracks off the forthcoming LP and its brutal, so rock and so fucking roll!! This picture disc looks lovely as well which is always important. Get this or go and see the Libertines!
