The Endless Blockade offer up two songs on their side of this devastating platter. The first spans some twenty minutes of pure torment, a withering slice of slow-motion hardcore along the lines of Corrupted or Noothgrush. It’s foul, punishing and almost unbearably tragic, mercilessly presenting itself as a testament to what might happen if Crossed Out ever chose to drag one of their breakdowns across one side of an album. Ouch. The second track, by contrast, lasts something like three seconds and exists only in a mad flap of noise and gargled phlegm. Marvellous.

After a ponderous intro, Warzone Womyn dive into the action with a slew of raucous numbers from the No Comment/Crossed Out school of brutality. Fast for the most part but never afraid to drag out the odd riff when a sluggish mood hits them, as demonstrated by the stupendous closing track which strangles breath in much the same way as a grime-caked boot slowly crushing your windpipe.

Overall, a totally cracking split – just as well Out Of Limits will be repressing it soon, since in its current incarnation it’ll prove pretty tricky to track down.
