Posthumous release from a Singaporean band that lived between December 1997 and July 1999. 10 tracks under ½ hr. Pain. Angst. Suppress.
Hints of almost every mid 90s hardcore are there. Their influences range from the Ebullition bands like Portraits of Past and Amber Inn and Iconoclast. Possibly elements of Saetia as well. There is the typical ingredients of screaming, crying breakdowns, twinkly intros to spazziness, the talky bits, and such. Standout tracks would be ‘Dimensions of Failure’ and ‘The Silent Battle’. Overall goodness if you’re into this particular genre.
It would have been better if I had heard them earlier as the mind is overly saturated. But still, an awesome band from Singapore than most of the dishwater around there lately.
P.S Word is spreading there’ll be a split release with UK rockstars ‘Army of Flying Robots’. Keep your eyes peeled.
