Labels: Dead And Gone

So what we have here is the latest example of the Dead and Gone Records powered ‘British Old School Revival’ which, like i guess anything when it gains momentum, is becoming a breeding ground for generic wannabes. However, along with labelmates/owners the Last Chance the Legacy buck this trend, so it’s fairly obvious posi youth crew influenced stuff but it still has it’s own identity and isn’t ridden with the cliches detractors love to throw at such bands. They are also a band that has genuinely progressed and made their mark without having to add anything too obviously aimed at proving it, and lastly, but possibly most importantly, it has plenty of heart and passion, nice and cheap too.
