Finally! new Little Explorer stuff! Don’t rush yourselves lads! But seriously, it was totally worth the wait, much like their other stuff, this record is just gorgeous. The Little Explorer is awesome, their music has so much more charm and character than many of the twinkle-twinkle-SCREAM outfits around these days, you can instantly tell it’s them playing which is always a really strong sign of an awesome band for me.
This record opens up with a song that instantly got me excited as it’s one I remembered hearing some time ago when they played live in a town centre pub in my home town what seems like years ago, I remember at the time just being blown away and really wanting to hear it recorded and be able to hear it properly with decent sound, needless to say it lived upto it’s promise and is completly fab, oh baby. After that the second song was never gonna have quite the same extreme pant wetting reaction but it’s still amazing stuff…ok, so I’ll stop kissing their arses now, just buy this record, you won’t be disappointed, my only complaint is that it could of been a bit longer, 2 songs is not enough!
p.s. this is released as a cd and 7″ as one package, which is a good idea……
