Reissue here of this earlier release from MRR’s current poster boys. Unlike the usual rip-roaring hardcore Deranged pumps out, the Observers weigh in with a dose of impudent punk caught somewhere between the Buzzcocks and the Wipers “” stark, sharp, melodic punk rock served with a knowing sneer and some sardonic Ian Mackaye-sounding vocals that simultaneously empathise with the outsider and tear strips off the poor sod for caving in and begging for acceptance. It’s like a breath of fresh air for sure, and enough of an appetiser to make you wish their LP wasn’t going to be such a pig to track down”¦
