The new Shins album is really great, sweet summer licked pop songs that are retro as fuck but are just so damn good.
This new single is also very good, the a-side is one of my least favourite on the full length but it’s still damn good west-coast power pop. They remind me of Pinback in the way that they can just come out with classic after classic and just not let up.
Even though the b-side is really short, its just so twee and nice I could never slag it off.
The picture disc (lots of penguins) is as twee as the music.
