Labels: forever escaping boredom
Review by: Andy Malcolm
It’s the vocals. It’s definitely the vocals. Cos I don’t like this very much. Does the prospect of what sounds like a 10 year old girl wailing with a stoned kid adding some other words over the top of spazzy emo hardcore with some quieter parts appeal to you? The schoolgirl even screeches on the slow bits, which gets a little too much for me. Sometimes they sound like Saetia, sometimes just screecho screamo hardcore.
I think if they sorted out the vocals, this would be more enjoyable. But personally, they just piss me off. Fair play for trying something different, having the song about not understanding why people drop out of punk / hardcore when they think they are too old, and being fuckin’ DIY, but the music, alas, is not for me.
