This is pretty good shoe-gazer indie rock. They sound a bit like some 70s rock bands (a less rock Led Zeppelin with Stones moments) but have a bit Spiritualised / Spacemen 3 feel to them as well. They sound like how BRMC should fucking sound!
I wasn’t too sure if I was gonna like this though as its not really my cup of tea but its done really well and is really catchy and good to just chuck on if your reading or doing the dishes. It has some good choruses and they use loads of different instruments to add to the whole 70s freak-out noise.
I thought they might either be a stoner band or a Grateful Dead tribute band (they used to be called the Warlocks) when I first saw it, the name and amazing spacey artwork gave it away!
I’d get this album if your into slow but rocking rock with a big indie feel (and they are on the same label as the Boredoms!).
