This band laudibly mentions in it’s press release that it doesn’t think it should bang on about radio play and things like that. That’s good. They also don’t put themselves into a genre. Fair do’s. And the CD is very DIY, it is a self financed project. And they have done a good job because it is well produced and the packaging is nicely put together. Sadly the kind of music that this band plays will appeal to nobody who writes for this website, because they play a mix of ska, metal and whiney-rock. Less than Jake crossed with A Hundred Reasons? Lots of riffy, skanky punk bits that are catchy enough in their own right, but I am afraid: ska-punk. I mean. Ska-punk. What’s all that about? I don’t get it. Oh wait, I remember now. I am old. Anyway, the music does sound very competent and I am sure people that like ska-punk with added other influences will be well into it. I am not though, especially the 4th track which makes me scared. Ok, I’ve had enough. 42 minutes on here and even though I am quite ill lately, I certainly am not going to be able to make it that far. Apologies to the band, but as we so often have to say: WRONG ZINE.
