Mainstream-leaning post-punk here from these chaps. Very tuneful and very timely. Wardens is a fast-paced, hook-laden two-minute romp in the vein of Bloc Party or Maximo Park that just powers along and sweeps you up with its breathless energy whether you bally want it to or not. Rotary Queen on the other hand is less of a straightforward adrenaline kick, lingering back in the shadows and gradually plucking up the courage for mild Mogwai-style rock-outs that barge their way into shimmering arpeggios and crooned vocals for something akin to a post-rock pop song. Smart, accomplished and pretty much ripe for an artily shot video awash with skinny black ties and porkpie hats.
