Review by: Andy Malcolm
It’s been ages since I got any thrash but this rekindles the
flame! A comp of 7 bands just playing fast hardcore and
shouting a lot. You can’t go wrong, because you know exactly
what you are getting into before you even slap it on the
turntable. Like, if you only listen to indie rock you are never
going to buy a record called “Bay Area Thrash Demolition” in
the first place. And if you do, then, well, fuck you! It’s your own stupid fault!
Well, you know exactly what this sounds like, so a review is
pretty much pointless. The only band on this that I had ever
heard of was Scholastic Deth, but all the bands played fast and
I moshed in my bedroom and pointed fingers and I have no clue as to who was who. Some of it sounds more like that thing
they used to call power violence too. I can’t keep up with the
trends.
Thrash! But don’t be ironic. You fuck.
