These dudes always send us some crazy shit for review and this 7 inch does not let me down. What can you say about a comp
that is all about food where there is a track by some bloke called Dennis Driscoll who is doing echoey rapping about
eating with some nutter doing human beatbox in the background? Classic. Also featuring on here is Pueblo, who does a
downbeat lo-fi effort that I really digged, Hormones in Abundance who do an awesome casio pop track with great
Scando-accented vocals (it kept skipping or was badly mastered though?!), Cat and Dog Dialogue who do a slower casio thing
that regales us with info about the onion chopping king, a band called Fuck who do a 2 second track about pizza’s, Uzi
Street (fucking great name) does a no-fi Kraftwerk / Joy Division style thing that makes me giggle for no discernable
reason, and Hello Ladies rounds out this compilation of the bizarro with tasteful slacker acousticism.
This also comes with a thick booklet full of drawings, Gameboy Camera photo’s, Swedish and recipes. What can you say? I
heart Promenade for sending us the crazy shit. Yay!
