Yeah! This band is obtuse as you like, even going so far as putting out their debut album on a bloody tape!
Anyway, this band features ex-dudes from Born Against and Men’s Recovery Project (and possibly even The Monorchid!), so you know it’s going to flat-out fucking rock, which it proceeds to do for 16 tracks of angry, spazzy, art-damaged, weirdo hardcore. Even better, it’s repeated on the other side so you don’t even need to flip the bugger over. That is, if you have a tape deck at all.
You’ve heard it all before I’m sure, but it’s rarely done this well. These past masters know exactly what the fuck they’re doing, wedging in a sure feel for skewed melody whilst keeping their foot firmly on the accelerator at all times. A really excellent release.
