Hot damn a ding-dong, records like this are beyond constructive criticism! These cats sure like Motörhead! What’s even better is that I don’t mind a bit of Motörhead-inspired rock n’ roll too! Revved up, psycho-motor guitars race along, songs topping out around the two-minute mark before slamming into yet another insane tune. Things race by so fast, you don’t have time to work out whether you’re enjoying yourself or not. Zeke have honed it down to a fine art, cramming everything a rock n’ roll tune should have in about half the specified time set down in E.U. guidelines, and that usually includes a totally blazing guitar solo too. This is the kind of band that regularly drops the ‘G’ in words that end in ‘-ing’. That’s how rock they are. With legendary grunge whiz Jack Endino at the controls, and Relapse footing the bill, you’ve got a thoroughly ridiculous 15 songs in 30 minutes.
