The Lungfish of metal. They may only have the one song, but man does it KICK! Taking metal and stripping it down to the bone… no, scratch that… stripping it down to the salty, crimson, pithy marrow within, Battletorn fire song after song after song of brilliantly bullheaded, blasting rock up your fundament. Simple but effective riffs hewn from rock, drums beaten with meat tenderizers, vocals from the sixth or seventh circle of Hell. Some of the songs may be nothing more than mere sketches, but at least they’re over in a matter of seconds before the next awesome riff comes riding over the horizon.
