EOAY, who recently released an album on Revelation, seem to have captured the hearts of emo fans with their classy brand of Rites Of Spring-esque rock, and rightfully so. Interesting intertwining guitar lines overlay the busily solid drums, but I’m not big on the vocals however no matter how you slice them. FTC are the real find for me, playing as they do a total throwback to the Midwestern emo sound of yesteryear that twinkles away before bursting into a sudden swell of volume and screaming. The whole thing is very tastefully presented too.
