From the fertile mind of Southampton’s resident musical genius Mathew Sweet (see also such diverse acts as Boduf Songs, Green Hearse, Heavy Manufacturing Concern, Map Of Hell, Sodding Wolf’s Head, Trophy Girls and more) comes his black metal exorcism. I don’t know much about BM, but this certainly sounds harsh and lo-fi, just as it should be. Clearly his Boduf Songs day job doesn’t quite get that rage of his system. This isn’t troo or kvlt or grymm or whatever the fuck the term is what with the fact that the south coast of the UK is very little like Norway and the songtitles are a bit jokey, but the homage is genuine and the impersonation is impeccable.
