Uh. A prime example of what not to send Collective really. Stunningly dreary pop / rock music, that kind of has delusions of Bowie, and maybe the Super Furry Animals, this is basically the kind of guitar music that baffles and bewilders elitist ponces like my good self. It’s got a tune, but that is about it. The NME might have liked this 13 years ago, but in this day and age they would no doubt be as sneery as me, just for wildly different reasons. I assume this is a bunch of older guys, washed up, relationships failed, HEY LETS START A BAND! So they figured they’d make some straight forward music based on their record collections and have a ball. Good on them. It’s just not that close to being the kind of music I can tolerate. Sorry dudes.
