Thank Satan (or Trey Spruance rather) this got released. This four-part concept piece has been languishing in the archives ever since Girth split, and while I was expecting something in the vein of their monsterpiece of brutal instru-metal prog “Living In Truth”, I instead got something a lot less lovable. It’s twisted tech hardcore of the finest sort, but they’ve gone all out to incorporate dashes of Orthrelm and Guapo into the mix, with plenty of oddball electronic and jazz elements too. Pretty maddening, and not something you could take into your bosom, but thoroughly admirable nonetheless.
