Elaborately put together little package this, always good to see a band putting a little care and attention into things. String, cardboard, other little touches. Very nice. And a confusing start! The first track is 59 seconds of raging hardcore punk, which suddenly runs in to some Superchunk style guitars and you’ve got an indie rocker on your hands. With saxamophone. And shouty folk punk vocals. NTA are a bit muddled up, they’re not fitting into any of my nice tidy little boxes where I can safely file away bands so that I can sleep at night. And so the band continues, over this eventful 5 tracker. A ramshackle mix of folk punk, indie rock, and saxamphone. It all adds up to a decent listen, a lot less cloying than other bands you might associate them with, I would say this should appeal to you if you are into the likes of Halo Fauna or Onion Flavored Rings and bands of that ilk.
