Savagely so-so six-songer here from yet another bloke with an acoustic guitar. This one plinks and plunks away on his steel-strung in a manner that veers between inoffensively bland and fist-gnawingly annoying, at worst sounding like some shaggy-haired cunt playing Stereophonics covers around a Glastonbury campfire. The world’s already busting at the seams with types like these, so whether we need yet another isn’t even a moot point anymore, but at least he’s doing it quietly in a corner somewhere rather than asking for money on the tube. Small mercies and all that.
