Black Page Turns - Nail in the Coffin - CD (2009)

Labels: self released
Review by: Andy Malcolm

Strawbridge reviewed this lot last time out, and I figured I’d save him the trouble of throwing it in his bin by doing it myself. Well, not throw it in his bin obviously – that’s six hours drive away, and I don’t hate this CD to the extent that I want to put almost 300 miles between myself and it. This is hilarious, it sounds like Bon Jovi covering the Pole Position theme tune! Incredible. If that’s not enough to send you to their Myspace page, then I have no idea what is wrong with you. Sadly, I can’t see their belt buckles on the promo. No fair. My tolerance for Bon Jovi covering the Pole Position theme tune is slightly more than that of Strawbridge, but now that this has hit the feintly ridiculous guitar solo I can reassure you that this cdr is going to by following the perfect parabola into my waste basket very shortly, but not before I have got the air guitar going. BIN.
