Perfectly serviceable if slightly indistinct bout of melodic hardcore here from the No Idea camp, gunning for a Minor Threat / Dag Nasty / early Reagan Youth vibe rather than anything remotely gruff or beardish. With not one single song hitting the three-minute mark things are kept sharp and to the point with crisp riffing, decent lyrics and a sturdy series of yells n’ hollers whooping the message home, but for all their energy and gusto there’s not a whole lot (besides, say, the fun-times oohs n’ aahs to be found in “Broken Windows” or the neat lil breakdown mid-way through “Sans Opinions”) to tear you away from the same 80s greats you’ve been playing into the ground for however many years and prompt you to sling this one on instead.
