Tzadikim Nistarim - One Sided - 7

Labels: Communique
Review by: Danny Parsons

Never heard of this band before receiving this 7″ in the post (I’ve owned it for quite a while, but haven’t got around to reviewing it) and google doesn’t bear many fruits on the band at all. Apparently they weren’t around for long and only had a demo out before this 7″ which I can’t, for the life of me, find. There’s just the one track (Untitled) on this 7″ and it’s a pretty long one at that. It’s quite a muddled affair of a song and flits between these quite heavy, screamed lines and this melodic part with some shouting over the top about “teaching me” or something. It kinda goes west after that and I get a bit bored. Certainly not an ‘essential’ buy but an okay release if screamo’s your bag. The insert makes for interesting reading at least…
