Nesseria - s/t - CD (2009)

Labels: trendkill
Review by: David Giles

Nesseria play chaotic, ripping hardcore with some tech-y guitar parts. I can see them citing Botch and Converge as influences. Luckily for Nesseria, they don’t fall too deep into the “˜wankery lead guitar part’ territory that ruins Converge, although it does crop up occasionally (mid-point of “˜Par Pertes Et Profits’ etc.) I’d definitely recommend this to fans of those two. A couple of the tracks scream “œscreamo” at me too”¦ particularly the first two-ish minutes of “˜Le Quatrieme Age’. I reckon this band definitely has their heart in the right place and this record is pretty meaty. I can get behind this. Give it a listen.
