Run From Robots - Sorry You Don't Love Us - CD (2010)

Labels: self released
Review by: Andy Malcolm

That’s very kind of the band for apologising. I suppose they realised, because they had over 3000 reviews to wade through to come to the conclusion that Collective Zine would not be their biggest fans. However, this isn’t the worst shit we’ve ever been sent, it’s just ultra cheesey pop punk for teens to get worked up to. Plenty of wrought vocals, slow emo bits and so on. It reminds me of when me and the Lazaroo made the mistake of going to see the Get Up Kids last summer and being so drunk that we ended up going to this club in Camden where they played music all night which sounded like either Blink 182 or Fall Out Boy. All night. Except when they played us a song off Nothing Feels Good. Anyway, there’s not much to add here, it’s certainly tolerable, and if you spent your youth enjoying such cheeseball shenangigans as the Get Up Kids and previously mentioned bands, then you could find something to that takes you back right here.
