Both these bands are from Denmark and both play twiddly indie / emo. I’ve always wanted to go to Denmark, mainly because of Legoland, I know there’s one in England, but you have to mortgage your house to go in and it will be shit. Listening to this I almost feel like I’m walking round legotown, a giant among tiny people.
Anyway Nightpass are great, Kinsella-esque indie, mathy guitars all over the place but not too annoyingly noodley. They remind me of a time when bands in my town were interesting and not just mid paced punk.
My Polaris Artillery are apparently more like Sinaloa according to the press sheet, and I guess there are some similarities, especially I think in the vocals, but again musically it’s down math alley, but a bit tougher this time. It’s good though.
All-round good news!
