Hard to know where to begin with this one, seeing as it’s been roughly stitched together and left to twitch and bleed on a cold stone slab like some kind of freakish Frankenstein’s monster. While, at its core, things are fast and angry-as-fuck there’s absolutely nothing base-level or rote here, eschewing any sort of standardised hardcore tropes for a mix that seems to be equal parts Siege, Rudimentary Peni and Killing Joke. These aggressive blurts are clambered over by fluid, jazz-informed bass runs and glued together by a series of ambient scratches, scrapes and clanks that tingle the nape and keep you wondering just what the hell will be creeping up through the cracks next.
