Wow, a whole one track to ‘judge’ this band on. Not enough. However, I can give you an opinion on what happen in these 3 minutes. It is almost rather good, the guitars are catchy yet noisy, and they riff away energetically, to the point where there are fleeting moments that sound a bit like Archers of Loaf. I am less partial to when they bounce off into this soaring, radio friendly poppy chorus and Coldplay-ish guitars which kind of spoils all the fun I was having with the rougher parts. If I was these guys, I’d totally stick to making fun, abrasive indie rock, and ditch any pretense at ever selling more than 300 records, but that’s just me, I guess. Also, I would move away from Oxford for fear that all the dire bands that come from there would stop my band from being any good. Hey Oxford, hows it going? I know you Oxford guys like it when I write things like that. I don’t really mean it. Honest.
