Warchetype - Ancestral Cult of Divinity - CD (2010)

Labels: Alone (Spain)
Review by: Captain Fidanza

I love Black Sabbath. I don’t know if it’s cool to say that but I don’t care because I love Black Sabbath. I have loved Black Sabbath since my brother and I used to play Rock and Roll Racing on his Super Nintendo and a 16bit version of Paranoid by Black Sabbath featured on the soundtrack. I didn’t know the piece of music was called Paranoid and I didn’t know it had been written by Black Sabbath but after a time I found out what it was and it was then that I started to love the band Black Sabbath.

The members of Warchetype love Black Sabbath. The members of Warchetype don’t know if it’s cool to say that but the members of Warchetype don’t care because the members of Warchetype love Black Sabbath. The members of Warchetype have loved Black Sabbath since the members of Warchetype and their brothers used to play Rock and Roll Racing on their Super Nintendos and a 16bit version of Paranoid by Black Sabbath featured on the soundtrack. The members of Warchetype didn’t know the piece of music was called Paranoid and the members of Warchetype didn’t know it had been written by Black Sabbath but after a time the members of Warchetype found out what it was and it was then that the members of Warchetype started to love the band Black Sabbath.

Of course, when I realised who was behind that 16bit masterpiece, I went out and bought one of their albums but the members of Warchetype went out and made an album of doom/drone music inspired by it, which is where my life and the lives of the members of Warchetype started to divide and sadly they are yet to converge. We still exchange Christmas cards, but that’s it.

Attention mothers; don’t buy this for your eleven year old, one of the songs is called Bastards, which is a rude word.
