I want to know who is in this band, maybe I should look. I am pretty sure it’s not just some random dudes. A bunch of random dudes don’t just turn up and make a 7″ that sounds like Rain and Rites of Spring or Grand Mal in such an embarrassingly awesome fashion. It’s all here, from the bellowed vocals to the blistering guitar that takes hardcore punk into melodic territory but retains everything that makes hardcore interesting in the first place. Shit, it was even recorded at Inner Ear with Don Zientara. There’s a bit where the dude talks whilst away from the mic. It has a daisy on the front. These guys need to do an LP. Apparently they have done a 12″ EP. I will have to give it a listen. This is the record you will put on if you can’t listen to End of a Year any more because they are on Deathwish. I can’t tout this enough, this 7″ is brill.
