The lack of a press sheet, and the hand stamped cover made this clearly stand out from the rest of my current pile. A genuine demo, not sent in by an ill informed publisher – perhaps this would be my reward for wading through so much shite. Well, its not the gold I was hoping for but its good enough. 3 tracks of angry Scottish hardcore punk. Everything seems in place – solid vocals, good guitar tone, everybody can play, but the songs just don’t quite make it for me. Kind of like a shit Weep era Books Lie (which I mean as a compliment). So its not amazing, but I’d definitely like to hear what comes next. As a demo goes I reckon thats a success then.
