Seven tracks of straight-up hardcore from what could, on paper at least, be the French equivalent of Geriatric Unit. These peeps clearly have a lot of love for the early 80s (Negative Approach, F.U.’s etc.) but this enthusiasm sadly hasn’t translated into a batch of corking tunes, things here sounding a bit flat, lifeless and out of breath by the time we reach the end of any given song. The guitars have a nice loose feel to them and the female vox work well on ‘Fears And Hopes’, but, ultimately, the biggest surprise to be had is that one side plays at 45 while the other trundles round at 33. Je suis désolé, Crippled Old Farts, mais je n’aime pas.
