The name made me think it was going to be really boring Exploited style hardcore, It’s no way near that bad, thank fuck. I’m sure loads of people like the Exploited, but I think they might be one of the worst bands in history.
This is good basic fast 80’s early 90’s sounding hardcore, distinctly English, but not veering into aforementioned horrible thug hardcore. There are bits that remind me of a less melodic Consumed (I’m sure they will be disgusted by this but I liked em). The cover of The Jags ‘Back of my hand’ is really good.
If you are into that late 80’s early 90’s British hardcore then I don’t think you will be disappointed, I liked it a lot more than i expected to.
(The record was recorded by Martin at Whitehouse studios in Weston Super Mare, I would heartily recommend all British punk bands to go there. He’s very strange but does a good job. And will make you a lot of cups of tea, and tune your guitar when you don’t know how to)
