Norwegian electro pop/house(not really for collective zine mind you). This would be all over MTV2 if it still existed, which isn’t a criticism. Some of it, especially the second song could be a ‘good’ Katy Perry song, and some of it sounds like LaRoux. Its nothing outrageously new, and too many of the songs are a bit ballady which I could do without, but nothing you would turn off unless you still pretend to hate pop dance music, even though you secretly love the squelchy synth noises and catchy tunes. Some of the noises are very Daft Punk, or Justice. But much poppier. Like I said, if these were songs for a pop-star, they could be pretty big. As much as I like minute long songs of thrashing around and screaming, I’m a sucker for pop electro. This is a really good example of it, albeit one with singing that sounds like matey from savage garden which should be a major negative but bearable. Pop as fuck, but every so often a nice noisier electro crunch bit.
